Funny Things Kids Do to "Help"

I thought I would share a funny story of how my 3 year old likes to "help" mommy around the house.  Feel free to comment with your funny stories as well!

So, as I was cleaning for my "Just What Do I Do All Day" challenge, my oldest daughter asked if she could sweep the kitchen floor while I vacuumed the living room.  I told her she could, so that she could feel as though she was helping out, and to encourage her to want to help clean up.

After I finished vacuuming the living room, and putting the vacuum away, I walked into the kitchen to see how my daughter was coming along with her "job" and found that something had been spilled.  I asked little Wendy(*) what she had spilled and she automatically started apologizing.

I assured her that it was going to be okay and asked again what she had spilled.  Then, with the biggest smile on her face that she could possibly make, Wendy looked at me and said, "I put it in the doggy water!"

My lovely daughter had taken our broom and dipped it into the dog's water bowl, then swept the entire floor!  Of course, she did not know at the time that she was just making more work for mommy...but she thought that she was the best little helper in the world!

What have your kids done to "help" that only in hindsight was humorous?
